Darcia comes from a humble background, earning her living as a seamstress in Florence, where she becomes one of Arti's closest companions. At first, the gap in their social standing left her feeling uneasy and hesitant around Arti; however, once Arti took it upon herself to teach Darcia how to read and write, the walls between them gradually crumbled, giving rise to a genuine and lasting bond. Diligent by nature, Darcia steadily works to sharpen her craft and better her circumstances, while also serving as an indispensable emotional anchor for Arti as she pursues her dreams.
