Elmer Ahrens

Elmer Ahrens is a Captain in the Imperial Army and a founding member of the Salamander Kampfgruppe, where he commands the tank company. When the Kampfgruppe was first established with mostly inexperienced recruits, he was the only officer whom the protagonist, Tanya von Degurechaff, immediately recognized as highly capable and praised. Ahrens is a seasoned military veteran with exceptional battlefield awareness, allowing him to accurately assess rapidly changing situations and seamlessly grasp Tanya's tactical intentions. Thanks to Tanya's negotiations with logistics, his company was equipped with twenty-four Panzer IV Ausf. G tanks, which he leads with outstanding skill to provide crucial fire support and breakthrough capabilities on the front lines, making him an incredibly reliable pillar of the combat group.
