In "Thunder 3," Futaba is the energetic and mischievous younger sister of the protagonist, Pyontaro. She is deeply attached to her older brother, often running circles around him with her playful antics. Her life takes a dramatic turn when Pyontaro and his friends accidentally play a mysterious disc, opening a portal to a hyper-realistic parallel world known as the Multiverse. Drawn by curiosity, Futaba chases after a lifelike dragonfly that emerges from the screen, leading her to slip into this dangerous new dimension and vanish. However, because she originates from a cartoon-style world, she possesses an extraordinary, cartoon-physics-defying durability in this realistic universe. Even when targeted by hostile extraterrestrials' devastating heat-ray weapons on a battleship, she remains completely unharmed, innocently wandering around their vessel. Her pure, cheerful nature and comical resilience provide a stark contrast to the grim parallel world, driving the "Small 3" to brave any danger to bring her home.
