Gale

Gale is a high school student at Shrewsbury High School who shares the same campus as the protagonist Charlie. Deeply drawn to the animal liberation ideology promoted by the Animal Liberation Alliance (ALA), he operates online under the alias 'Red Pill', using his platform to persuade fellow students to give up eating meat. However, his extremist mindset makes him dangerously vulnerable to manipulation by those higher up in the organization. Ultimately incited by Max, he carries out a shooting incident on school grounds. His character serves as a critical portrayal of how young people can fall prey to radical ideologies, making him a pivotal supporting figure in the story.
