Goku Son

Son Goku is the Great Sage Equal to Heaven who spent five hundred years sealed away within Five Elements Mountain as punishment for his past crimes, until Sanzo Hoshi freed him and he set out on the westward journey. In Saiyuki RELOAD -ZEROIN-, he serves as the primary fighting force of the group, heading toward Tenjiku to prevent the resurrection of Gyumaoh. Simple-natured and extraordinarily food-obsessed, he nonetheless demonstrates remarkable physical prowess and razor-sharp combat instincts when battle calls. The golden headband he wears exists to suppress the immense and volatile demonic power dwelling within him, and his devotion to Sanzo—the one who saved his life—runs profoundly deep.
