Hakuoro

Having been bound within the underground seal of Onkamiyamukai for years with Eruruu acting as his caretaker, Hakuoro experiences a profound turning point in this final chapter. When Haku's spirit arrives in his realm after sacrificing himself from overusing his mask's power in the climactic battle against Woshis, Hakuoro makes the pivotal choice to pass his mask and divine authority over to the young hero. This transfer of godhood finally frees Hakuoro from an eternity of solitary burden and selfless sacrifice. In the story's epilogue, completely stripped of his godly powers and reborn as a mere mortal, he is guided by Eruruu out of the shrine to emotionally reunite with everyone who had been waiting for him.
