Hana Ichinose

Hana Ichinose is a 17-year-old Aries with blood type A, enrolled in Class 1-2 at Hoshio Girls' High School, where mathematics is her strongest subject and the rabbit is her symbolic animal. On the eve of her high school entrance exams, she contracted mumps and was forced to miss them entirely, sending her into a prolonged period of low spirits. Encouraged by her mother to seek a change of scenery, she left Tokyo behind and traveled alone to a small town in Nagano Prefecture's Soizawa area, moving into the Temari Heights apartment complex managed by Shion Kyōzuka. During her year as a rōnin, she rarely stepped outside, confining herself to self-study in her room, which caused her physical fitness to deteriorate sharply — a fact made painfully clear at the school's opening fitness tests. She now occasionally joins Shion on morning runs to rebuild her stamina.
