Hanoy Cressa

Hanoy Cressa, known by the alias 'Green Hornet' ('Suihou'), is the leader of the Verdapis Mercenary Corps. He is a formidable warrior who wields a massive greatsword, possessing exceptional physical strength and combat techniques that even the master swordsman Beryl recognizes as extremely dangerous. Operating on a pragmatic philosophy, Hanoy has turned his back on traditional knightly honor; while he strictly fulfills the requests he accepts, he prioritizes clients who can offer the most lucrative rewards. He makes his debut by ambushing Beryl and his companions during their return from the Frumevelk territory, but quickly orders a tactical retreat upon realizing Beryl's surprising strength. Despite his aggressive stance and open combativeness towards Beryl, he later cooperates in safeguarding royal figures during a crisis, showcasing his flexible, profit-driven nature as a mercenary who refuses to let pride or past grudges get in the way of a job.
