Haruko Momoi

Haruko is the mother of the main character Shinichi, making her official appearance in the second season of the anime. Despite projecting a warm and approachable demeanor, she is in fact the most powerful judo practitioner in the Sakurai family. Whenever she visits Shinichi, who lives on his own, she frequently misreads the nature of his relationship with Uzaki Hana, leading to amusing bouts of imagination. The contrast between her fierce combat ability and her gentle personality, paired with her deep affection for her family, contributes a great deal of heartwarming humor to the series.
