Haruto Imai

Haruto Imai is a second-year student at Meisei High School who shares a classroom with the story's protagonist, Shotaro Tatewaki, and serves as his closest companion. Outside of academics, he dedicates himself to the school tennis club. Haruto harbors quiet, long-standing feelings for his classmate Yuriko Korigami, and his candid, warm-hearted nature makes those emotions all the more apparent. A particularly memorable moment occurs when chocolates gifted by Yuriko are accidentally eaten by his family—a small yet poignant incident that captures the bittersweet reality of teenage romance. As a supporting character, he brings authenticity and youthful charm to the everyday side of the narrative.
