Hayato Hayama

Standing at the top of the school's social hierarchy, Hayato Hayama appears to have it all — athletic talent, good looks, a prestigious family background, and effortless popularity. His primary concern is preserving harmony within his circle of friends, yet this very trait reveals a reluctance to confront change or make difficult choices. Bound to the Yukinoshita family through longstanding ties, he carries quiet guilt over his failure to support Yukino during a critical moment in their past. He views Hikigaya Hachiman as his polar opposite — and while he sees him as a rival of sorts, he harbors a deep-seated mix of inferiority and aversion toward Hachiman's willingness to resort to ruthless, unconventional methods.
