Hikage Miyauchi

As the second daughter of the Miyauchi household, Hikage currently lives and studies in Tokyo, making her way back to the rural family home only when school is out. Each homecoming sees her eagerly regaling her younger sister Renge and childhood friends with tales of city life, keen to flaunt her urban sophistication. Yet her attempts at superiority are routinely deflated—either by Hotaru, a genuine Tokyo native who effortlessly outshines her, or by an audience that simply pays her no mind. Despite the repeated dents to her ego, her bubbly, slightly childlike personality keeps the group lively and makes her an indispensable mood-maker in the story.
