Hina Kubota

Hina Kubota is a sweet and soft-spoken first grader living on the Goto Islands, inseparable from the energetic Naru Kotoishi. Exceptionally timid by nature, she tends to burst into tears whenever she encounters unfamiliar faces, using crying as her go-to expression whether she feels joyful, sad, or simply overwhelmed. Over time, as she warms up to the calligrapher Seishu Handa, her quietly sharp sense of observation begins to shine through, making her an irreplaceable presence in Naru's mischievous island adventures.
