Hokuro is an ordinary foot soldier of the Kingdom of Bosse who, as a child, learned sign language in order to communicate with his deaf mother. This unique skill made him one of the rare few capable of conversing directly with the hearing-impaired Prince Bojji. Throughout their journey together, he takes charge of the prince's daily care while also serving as his personal guard. Though his combat abilities are unremarkable, his deeply rooted sense of justice makes him the most dependable pillar of support in Bojji's path of growth.
