Ichiko

Ichiko is one half of a twin pair of zashiki-warashi spirits, inseparable from her sister Niko. Originally dwelling in Iwate Prefecture in the mortal world, she was brought to the underworld under Hoozuki's guidance. Her appearance—jet-black hair, a dark kimono, and an unreadable expression—evokes the stillness of a traditional ichimatsu doll. Recognized for her unrelenting work ethic and bluntly critical tongue, she was appointed as an official supervisor within the Court of King Enma, tasked with monitoring whether staff members are fulfilling their duties diligently. Despite her small stature, she is one of the most trusted figures in Hoozuki's circle.
