Iria

Iria is one of the concubines of the Duke of Olcott and the mother of the protagonist, Ephtal, in his second reincarnation. Because she possesses no magical aptitude whatsoever, she is marginalized and looked down upon by the primary wife and other members of the Olcott household who highly value lineage and talent. Despite facing such harsh and cold treatment, she pours boundless love and affection into raising Ephtal, quietly supporting him alongside his half-brother, Fraser. When Ephtal reaches fifteen and decides to leave home to take the magic academy's entrance exam, she tearfully bids him farewell while wholeheartedly encouraging him to pursue his dreams.
