Junko Sumida

A diagnostic error she made in her younger years—one that was pointed out by Takaou Amahisa—left a lasting resentment within her, leading her to ban Takaou from ever setting foot in the psychiatric ward. Though she maintains a stern attitude and frequently clashes with Takaou on a personal level, she upholds an unwavering sense of professional responsibility. Deep down, she genuinely acknowledges Takaou's exceptional medical brilliance, and when confronted with particularly difficult cases, she is willing to set aside personal grievances for the sake of her patients and seek out collaboration.
