A fateful encounter with the youkai girl Kogitsune Yamabiko set his story in motion, leading him to Tokyo where he joined her supernatural consultation agency. He carries upon his person a mystical artifact known as the 'Stone of Life,' which simultaneously suppresses his monstrous instincts and grants him an undying constitution with remarkable regenerative prowess. Though outwardly impassive and largely unfamiliar with common social norms, his time alongside his newfound companions gradually awakens within him a deeper understanding of human emotion, all while he pursues the long-held wish of uncovering the truth behind his birth parents.
