Kahaku

Kahaku serves as the sixth leader of the Guardian Corps and stands as the first male to inherit the lineage of Hayase. A Knocker capable of combat dwells within his left arm, and he wields that power in his duty to protect the Undying. Yet the feelings he harbors toward the Undying are profound and tangled, leaving him torn between his family's inherited mission, his own relentless obsession, and the interference of the Knocker residing inside him. In the end, to break the curse carried by his bloodline and help the Undying reclaim what had been taken from her, he chose to cast himself—and the Knocker within—into the flames.
