Kanna Kusakabe

Set in the 23rd year of the Showa era, Kanna Kusakabe is a lively and endlessly inquisitive second-year student at a newly established Tokyo high school. A chance encounter brought her into the orbit of Japanese language teacher Chuzenji Akihiko, and since then she has repeatedly found herself entangled in bizarre incidents involving supernatural creatures. With a deep love for reading and sweets, she frequently visits the library preparation room in pursuit of the truth—earning her the distinctive campus nickname 'Ghost Detective'.
