Kaoru Tsujinaka

Kaoru Tsujinaka is the biological younger sister of protagonist Yoshiki Tsujinaka. Despite being of middle school age, she is currently on a leave of absence from school and spends her days assisting at her mother's place of work. Quiet and introverted in nature, she shares a close and tender bond with her older brother, making her the family member Yoshiki strives hardest to protect amid the strange events unfolding around them. Her circumstances serve as a reflection of the social exclusion and pressure that the isolated village places upon those who do not conform.
