Karen Jinryou

Karen Jinryou is a freshman at Seikain Girls' Academy and the proud successor of the centuries-old Jinryou swordsmanship tradition. Her perpetually stern expression and habit of carrying a real blade keep most classmates at a wary distance. Beneath that imposing exterior, however, lies a girl who struggles deeply with social interaction and harbors an intense fear of loneliness. Since joining the Shomin Club, her surprisingly endearing love for cute things has gradually come to light. Whenever her feelings for the protagonist Kimito grow too strong to contain, she instinctively reaches for her sword—using the blade as a shield to hide the bashfulness she cannot bring herself to admit.
