Kasuga

Kasuga once worked as a receptionist at 'Tenjin-ya', concealing her true nature as a tanuki shapeshifter. Despite her noble lineage within the renowned tanuki clan of the Northwest Lands, she carries no air of superiority, forming a warm friendship with the human protagonist Aoi and frequently sharing insider knowledge of the hidden world. By the second season, she has left Tenjin-ya and settled in the Northern Lands as the wife of Yatsuba. Known for her bright disposition and caring nature, she involuntarily reverts to the form of a young tanuki cub whenever she is startled.
