Kazunari Takao

Kazunari Takao is the tactical backbone of Shutoku High's basketball squad. Blessed with an extraordinary ability known as the 'Hawk Eye,' he can survey the entire court at a glance—making him a natural counter to Kuroko's misdirection techniques. Off the court, Takao's easygoing charm and playful nature shine through; he affectionately calls his partner Midorima 'Shin-chan' and even pedals him to school on a rickshaw, creating an endearing and comedic duo. Once the game begins, however, Takao transforms into a composed and decisive floor general, fueling Shutoku's offense with pinpoint passing and exceptional court awareness.
