Kei Hanada

Kei Hanada is a high school sophomore whose admiration for calligrapher Sei Handa has crossed into full-blown obsession. He meticulously replicates every detail of Handa's appearance and mannerisms—from hairstyle to handwriting, from speech patterns to body language. Remarkably, when masked, he bears a striking resemblance to the real Handa, though his unmasked face is entirely unremarkable. He once impersonated Handa at a park to bask in unearned praise, but after experiencing firsthand the weight of Handa's fame, his ambition shifted: rather than deceiving others, he now strives to be the most convincing imitation possible. Today, he serves as the ideological core of the Handa Corps, dedicated to elevating and mythologizing Handa's legend.
