Kenichi Masaki first appeared as a street-tough delinquent, clashing with Ushio Aozuki due to a misunderstanding. Everything changed when Reiko Habu fell into danger at the hands of a yokai—the two joined forces to protect her, forging an unbreakable bond in the process.
