Kinuko Karasuma

Kinuko Karasuma is a sports journalist who has been passionately covering the talented high jumper Izumi Sano since his junior high school days. Even when Sano temporarily quit track and field, she consistently visited and kept tabs on him. Although she was briefly reassigned away from the sports department due to a company transfer, she immediately returned to Osaka Academy to cover him upon hearing news of his comeback. Deeply devoted to Sano, she initially harbors a sense of jealousy toward Mizuki Ashiya, who successfully motivated Sano to jump again. Additionally, she is a college acquaintance of the school nurse, Hokuto Umeda, though she mysteriously avoids him whenever possible.
