Kiyotsugu Togawa

Kiyotsugu Togawa is the father of protagonist Shoko Togawa. Having married into the Togawa family, he once held a position of social standing. However, following his wife's death and his involvement in a fraud case, he was expelled from the family and left without employment. After relocating with Shoko to a low-rent apartment, he fell into a state of deep despondency, turning to alcohol to cope with his overwhelming sense of guilt. His dire circumstances serve as the pivotal backdrop that drove Shoko to harden her personality and form a band as a means of survival.
