Koizumi is a female high school student whose real name is never revealed throughout the story. She possesses long, wavy hair with a distinctly alkaline-water yellow hue, giving her an striking and elegant appearance. Her passion for ramen borders on obsession, leaving her entirely indifferent to almost everything else in life — a disposition that has left her without any friends at school. She had already transferred to the same school as Jun and the others before the main story begins. Whenever she sets her sights on a particular ramen shop, she acts with remarkable immediacy and unwavering determination, and she tolerates no casual intrusions into her deep knowledge of ramen. Although spicy ramen is not her forte, she does not shy away from trying it. Despite her slender frame, she possesses an astonishing appetite. Her academic performance is generally excellent, though she once had to sit a make-up exam for reasons left unexplained. She is also fluent in German, though the reason behind this remains unknown. She harbors an open dislike toward Yū's persistent and intrusive behavior.
