Kouta Maki

Fifteen-year-old Kouta Maki hails from Fukushima, where his grandfather first sparked a deep love of horse racing in him from an early age. Driven by that passion, he successfully passed the entrance exam for racing school. Known as a true 'data-driven racing nerd,' he can recall the results of virtually every major race from memory. Bright and level-headed by nature, he treats his fellow students with sincerity and genuine thoughtfulness, pursuing his dream of becoming a jockey under the personal motto: 'Persistence is power.'
