Kuma

Kuma is a designated 'observer' who journeys from Oni Island to Tokyo alongside three oni children. In appearance, Kuma resembles a moving stuffed bear, yet its true identity remains wrapped in mystery. Throughout the story, Kuma guides the children through the rhythms of human society while also narrating the tale from beginning to end. With a mature and gentle disposition, Kuma watches over the children's growth and adventures with unwavering warmth.
