Kyoutarou Kakei

Kyoutarou Kakei is a second-year student at Shiomi Academy who once stood as the sole member of the library club. Fueled by an almost obsessive love of books, he consistently ranks first academically across the entire school, all while maintaining a calm demeanor and a genuine willingness to help others. Everything shifts when a cryptic message from a mysterious figure known as the "Shepherd" sets him on an unexpected path — he rescues Tsugumi Shirasaki and launches what he calls the "Happiness Project." As he works to untangle the troubles of those around him, his once quietly bookish life begins to transform in ways he never anticipated.
