Lakan

A high-ranking general within the military, Lakan is renowned for his unparalleled strategic brilliance and keen insight. Due to his prosopagnosia, he perceives those around him as mere pieces on a chessboard, unable to recognize their faces—with two notable exceptions: his daughter Maomao and his former lover Fengxian. Despite his unsettling and erratic conduct that instills fear in others, he has spent years relentlessly pursuing the chance to reclaim his daughter. Though his standing in military and political circles is formidable, he becomes remarkably clumsy and overwhelmingly doting the moment he is in Maomao's presence.
