Once a dedicated snowboarder in Canada for fifteen years, Langa Hasegawa found himself at a crossroads after losing his father, choosing to leave both his sport and his homeland behind. Relocating to Okinawa with his mother, a chance encounter with his classmate Reki while searching for a part-time job unexpectedly drew him into the high-stakes underground skateboarding scene known as 'S.' Channeling his deep-rooted snowboarding instincts—edge control, weight distribution, and fluid body mechanics—into skateboarding, Langa's growth rate stunned even seasoned competitors.
