Lirus and Lirie

Lirus and Lirie are AB blood type Gemini shrine maiden fortune-tellers. Lirus is the primary personality — gentle and soft-spoken in nature. However, when subjected to a powerful emotional shock, her hidden alter ego, Lirie, awakens. Lirie is a stark contrast to Lirus: strong-willed and assertive, and even her hair color shifts — from Lirus's green to Lirie's vivid pink. One day, at Mana's suggestion, the group heads to the beach for an outing. There, Lirus reads Itsuki Yuge's fortune and discovers a death omen looming over his fate. When Itsuki refuses to believe her, even reducing Lirus to tears, the shock causes Lirie to emerge — who promptly confronts Itsuki for making Lirus cry. Later, when Lirus reads Seiya's fortune and demonstrates a way to alter one's destiny, Itsuki is finally convinced. From that point on, his bond with both Lirus and Lirie deepens. Together, they perform the Rite of Desire with Itsuki, and Lirus foretells that by bringing forth her own Star Child, she can shield Itsuki from the shadow of death.
