Mabel Laybelle

Mabel was born as the sole remaining member of the Ice Clan, her entire purpose in life revolving around wielding the Frozen God Sword to slay the Flame Dragon. Fate, however, had other plans — her uncle defeated the dragon without ever drawing the sacred blade, instantly rendering her lifelong mission obsolete and sending her into a spiral of aimless idleness. Nudged out of her hometown by her uncle's so-called encouragement, she now drifts across a foreign world as a young woman who fiercely resists any form of work and struggles deeply with social interaction, scraping by on the barest of means.
