Macrophage is a higher-ranking phagocyte than the Neutrophil, carrying responsibilities that far exceed those of ordinary white blood cells. Her duties span from nurturing immature red blood cells and assisting in the early training of T cells, to purging debris from blood vessels and organs, and recycling the remnants of aged or dying cells. In appearance, she presents herself in an elegant white Gothic maid outfit, conducting herself with the poise and courtesy of nobility — a refined image further embodied by the voice of Kikuko Inoue. Beneath that graceful exterior, however, lies a staggering physical strength and ruthless combat prowess entirely at odds with her demeanor. When confronting pathogens, she wields massive blunt weapons and cleavers with overwhelming brute force — and in the midst of slaughter, she raises a hand to her lips and lets out a soft, chilling laugh, revealing an unmistakably yandere nature lurking within.
