This bizarre ordeal eventually led him to the care of Hanako's grandfather, under whose guidance he learned to harness this supernatural power. Driven by profound gratitude toward the Honda family, Maeda serves them with an almost absolute devotion. He has an uncanny habit of appearing beside Hanako without warning, and though his behavior is undeniably peculiar, he possesses a wide array of abilities that defy ordinary logic—making him one of the most enigmatic supporting characters in the series.
