Mako Kawai

Mako Kawai is a freshman at Inari Women's University who joined the Food Culture Research Club as one of its members. While she holds a deep passion for food and demonstrates impressive culinary skills, her introverted nature makes it difficult for her to initiate conversations with others. Through sharing her homemade dishes with fellow club members, she gradually overcomes her social anxiety, finding meaningful connections through food and friendship that enrich her university life.
