Mami is a female tanuki from Tanuki Star, serving as Bunpuku's wife and the mother of their two children. Following a conflict that broke out in her homeland, she relocated with her family to the ruins of a post-civilizational-collapse Ginza on Earth. In daily life, she carries herself with graceful composure; while she tends to come across as arrogant toward strangers and occasionally lets slip cutting remarks without realizing it, her true nature is genuinely kind, and she enforces a strict approach to raising her children. In private, she harbors a deep fondness for alcohol, and it is said that she was the one who actively pursued her husband, leading to their marriage.
