Manato serves as the very first leader of the Haruhiro party in the dark fantasy series 'Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash.' Balancing the roles of healer, tactician, and front-line supporter all at once, he was the indispensable cornerstone that held the fledgling group together. Tragically, during a desperate retreat, he shielded his companions from a goblin's arrow, ultimately succumbing to the combined toll of his wounds and depleted magical energy.
