Mao

Mao was the one and only person Siao held dear—his emotional anchor. It was for the sake of her freedom that Siao resigned himself to a life as the organization's assassin. Although she had already passed away from illness before the story begins, the photographs she left behind, the lullaby she once sang, and her daughter May ultimately became the driving forces that guided her brother away from his life of killing and back toward his humanity, embodying a familial bond that transcends death itself.
