Marie-2 is an artificial intelligence-equipped robotic maid constructed by Roy prior to the recruitment of protagonist Marie, and is regarded as the Arthur household's 'legitimate' mechanical servant. Her combat capabilities surpass those of the protagonist Marie, earning her the designation of a 'killing machine,' while she simultaneously excels as a maid. Despite her mechanical nature, she possesses a remarkably nuanced inner world, and throughout the story she forges a deep bond akin to close friendship with the protagonist Marie, who is disguising herself as a robot.
