Born Marguerite Breuil, she is the manifested spirit of a young girl who met her end upon the guillotine. Her lingering consciousness took on a tangible form, leading her to appear within the dreams of protagonist Ren and forge a fateful pact with him. Despite carrying a harrowing curse that severs the head of any soul she touches, her character remains remarkably gentle and pure. As the central heroine of the story, she is driven by an unconditional love for all living things, standing resolute against a cruel destiny to protect the warmth of everyday life. Her journey ultimately leads her to transcend into the 'Goddess of Twilight', a sovereign over the very laws of the world.
