Mariya Saijou

Mariya is a classmate of Takeo Gōda at Shūei High School whose feelings for him blossomed after he encouraged her during sports festival practice. Too shy to confess directly, she initially used the pretense of becoming his 'apprentice' to stay close to him while concealing her true emotions. Eventually finding the courage to be honest with herself, she confessed her feelings openly. Though her confession was not returned, Mariya gracefully accepted the outcome and chose to remain a supportive friend to both Takeo and Yamato, demonstrating her genuine kindness and emotional maturity.
