Maryrose is the longest-serving Shadow among the Shadow House's residents, presenting herself to others with a cheerful and sociable demeanor while partnering closely with Rosemary. However, the second season's 'Undead Disturbance' arc exposes her hidden role as the orchestrator behind the chaos. Armed with the knowledge that the 'merging' process would cost living dolls their lives, she took on the mantle of a rebel to challenge the mansion's established order. After suffering defeat at Kate's hands, she ultimately chose to fall from a cliff together with Rosemary, both to protect her partner and to pursue the freedom she longed for.
