Masago Matsuo

Masago Matsuo is Atsuhiro Sō's high school classmate and one of his most trusted friends. Among all the characters in the series, he stands out as one of the rare few who can see through both Atsuhiro's and his younger sister Chiho's tsundere tendencies—and accept them without a second thought. Known for his level-headed demeanor and emotional steadiness, Masago keeps a cool exterior in virtually every situation. Behind closed doors, however, he is a devoted fan of visual novels and dating sims, frequently visiting Atsuhiro's home to indulge in his 2D hobby. Despite insisting that only fictional girls capture his heart, he unexpectedly commands a loyal following among junior high school girls in reality, cementing his role as the story's indispensable outside observer.
