Masajirou Ozeki

Masajirou Ozeki serves as a rank-and-file member of the Mibu Rōshigumi (Shinsengumi), having joined the organization alongside his older brother Yashirou Ozeki during its period of expansion. Guileless and sincere by nature, he remains completely unaware of the internal plot to assassinate Serizawa Kamo. Throughout the Serizawa Assassination arc, he and his brother act as supporting combat strength for the unit, driven by a deep admiration for the samurai spirit as they dutifully work to maintain order in the turbulent capital of Kyoto.
