Matsuri Makabe is a student in Class 2-A at CITY South Middle School and considered the most 'normal' member of the Makabe household. Together with her close friend Yuri Amagasari (Ei), she proudly calls themselves the 'Going-Home Club Champions' and spends her after-school hours on whimsical, imaginative pursuits. Though she carries herself with more composure than her father and brother, she has fully inherited her father's deadpan comedic sensibility and boundless imagination.
