Mei Misaki

Mei Misaki is a student at Yomiyama North Middle School who has been designated as the class 'non-existent one' as a countermeasure against a mysterious curse. Her left eye has been replaced with a prosthetic said to perceive the color of death, which she keeps hidden beneath an eyepatch. Though she carries an air of isolation and detachment, the arrival of transfer student Kouichi Sakakibara draws her into a shared quest to unravel the deadly secret haunting their classroom.
